COLUMBIA, SC – 18-year-old Shydais Lyquell Tucker died Monday morning after his car left the roadway and collided with a tree.
ABC Columbia reports that the crash occurred on White Pond Road at around 1:00 AM on February 15th. Tucker was driving a 2006 Pontiac G-6 at the time.
First responders transported Tucker to Prisma Health Richland where he later succumbed to his injuries. He had been wearing a seat belt.
Authorities confirmed that he was a senior at Camden High School.
