CHARLESTON, SC – A Citadel cadet has been charged with felony DUI after fatally hitting a pedestrian at 685 King Street.

According to ABC 4, the crash occurred at 10:20 PM on Sunday, February 14th. The pedestrian was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina where they later died. The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has yet to release the name of the deceased.

The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Anthony Troiani. The Citadel confirmed that he is a college cadet Monday morning. He has been charged with felony DUI.
