COLUMBIA, SC – A police officer escaped injury after a train collided with their cruiser during a pursuit in Columbia this afternoon, according to WIS News.
The crash occurred on Beltline Boulevard at about 12 p.m. on February 14, as officials were investigating a police pursuit in the area.
A train reportedly collided with the vehicle, which was luckily vacant at the time.
No injuries were reported in the collision.
The identity of the Columbia Police officer was not immediately released. No further details are available at this time.
