FLORENCE, SC – Two people were hospitalized Thursday following a six-vehicle pileup on US 76 near the Francis Marion University athletic fields, SC Now reports.
The collision happened on the morning of February 4, 2021. The circumstances remain unclear, but we do know that it blocked the highway’s righthand eastbound lane for about 20 minutes.
Units from West Hill Fire Department, the South Carolina Highway Patrol, and Florence County EMS responded to the collision. An investigation was ongoing as of that evening.
