NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – Police released the identity of the person killed in the Thursday, February 4, 2021 crash on I-26 at the Meeting Street exit.

According to WCSC, the crash happened around 4:07 a.m. One person was killed, who was later identified as 31-year-old Daniel Trujillo. It is unclear if he was the driver or a passenger in the single-vehicle crash.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
