COLUMBIA, SC – South Carolina Highway Patrol reports several crashes occurred in the area of Parklane Road and Claudia Drive due to icy roads on Friday morning.

Trooper David of SCHP tweeted the ice was due to a water line break around 9:01 a.m. on January 29, 2021. The intersection of Parklane Road and Claudia Drive was blocked due to the incident. They reported that several crashes in the area were under investigation. No injuries were reported.
