MYRTLE BEACH, SC – Multiple people were killed, and several others were injured when a car crashed into a pond near a roadway in Myrtle Beach yesterday morning.
According to Count on 2, the accident occurred on Harrelson Boulevard, near Highway 15, at about 1:30 a.m. January 23, when a car crashed and partially sank into a retention basin.
Multiple people died of injuries sustained during the crash.
More than one person was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The identities of the victims were not immediately released.
The accident remains under investigation.
