GREENWOOD COUNTY, SC – One pedestrian was killed and another pedestrian was injured by a hit-and-run driver on Thursday night.
According to WSPA, the fatal accident occurred on Miller Road near Ridge Road at around around 6:14 p.m. on January 21, 2021.
Two pedestrians were walking in the northbound lane of Miller Road when they were hit by a northbound vehicle traveling. The vehicle left the scene, but local authorities later located its driver.
One pedestrian was pronounced dead at the crash scene. The current condition of the other pedestrian is unknown.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
