SWANSEA, SC – On Friday, January 15, 2021, a 53-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash northwest of Swansea.
According to ABC Columbia, the fatal accident happened in the 900 block of Sharon Church Road around 8:40 p.m.
Authorities believe Walter Cassidy’s vehicle left the roadway and rolled after he over-corrected.
Cassidy was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Investigations were ongoing as of Monday.
