MOUNT PLEASANT, SC – A 40-year-old man was killed when his moped collided with another vehicle on Long Point Road on Friday, January 8, 2021.
Galdino Gonzales was driving a moped on Long Point Road when it collided with another vehicle near Wando Park Boulevard at 5:04 p.m., according to WCSC.
Gonzales was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina where he died at 6:21 p.m. that evening.
No additional details have been released on the other vehicle or driver. The Mount Pleasant Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
