SCRANTON, SC – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver on southbound US-52 on Friday night.

Trooper Brian of the South Carolina Highway Patrol tweeted they were investigating the fatal pedestrian accident and seeking help from anyone who might have seen the accident occur on Friday, January 8, 2021.
The fatal accident occurred on southbound U.S. 52 near W. Lee Flowers Road around 10 p.m.
