ANDERSON, SC – Four people were hospitalized after a 2008 Kia sedan crashed into the Exxon gas station on Highway 81 on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

According to WSPA News, the driver of the Kia crashed into the building, located on Highway 81 at Alliance Parkway, around 7:05 p.m. Local authorities report the Kia was spotted across the street from the Exxon earlier in the evening.

The driver and three people inside the Exxon at the time of the crash were transported to a local hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
