MONCKS CORNER, SC – A 33-year-old man was charged in the hit-and-run crash that injured a child on a bicycle on Tuesday afternoon.

This is an update to an earlier post.

According to WCDB News, Nicholas Drew Myskowsky struck a child riding a bicycle on Vessey Drive near Charlesfort Way around 4:30 p.m. on January 5, 2021, and then fled the scene.

Myskowsky was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro at the time.

He was arrested Wednesday faces charges of leaving the scene of a collision with great bodily injury. Police report he is being held at Berkeley County Detention Center.
