FLORENCE, SC – A person was taken to the hospital for smoke-related injuries after a house fire in Florence on New Year’s Day, according to WMBF.
The blaze broke out around 11:05 p.m. in the 200 block of Roughfork Street, and was reportedly electric in nature.
The home was filled with smoke by the time firefighters arrived at the scene.
The owner of the home, who has yet to be publicly identified, was brought to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation injuries.
