HORRY COUNTY, SC – One person was confirmed injured in a rollover accident in Nichols on Tuesday afternoon, according to a local news report.
A photo from the scene shows a black Chevrolet that crashed in the 8300 block of Highway 917 at about 4:08 p.m.
One person was trapped in the vehicle that had landed on its side. Firefighters removed the roof to extricate the victim who was then transported to a local hospital.
The Chevrolet was the only vehicle involved in the accident.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation.
