CHARLESTON, SC – Officials say one person is recovering in the hospital following a pedestrian accident on Highway 17 on Monday, December 14th, reports The Charleston Press.

The collision occurred at around 9:11 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 17 and Magnolia Road, and left one person with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police are still investigating the accident.
