GEORGETOWN, SC – The South Carolina Highway Patrol say an ATV driver is dead after a collision with a car on Big Dam Swamp Road in Georgetown County, reports Count on News 2.

According to officials, the collision occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16th, when an ATV traveling southbound on Big Dam Swamp Road was rear-ended by a tailing 1998 Ford F-150. The ATV driver was killed in the accident.

The truck driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision and did not sustain injuries. There were no passengers in the truck.
