Medical Malpractice Lawsuit Filed after Inmate Dies

One of our new cases was covered by WCSC 5 on December 1. A man died while in the custody of the Al Cannon Detention Center. He died of dehydration while also having Schizoaffective disorder. The suit claims that the man faced over a week of medical neglect, and his body was not discovered until a significant amount of time after his death.
